How to attach a House Name Sign to your caravan:

You can of course drill into the outer skin of your caravan and attach a name sign in the same way you would attach one to your house, ensuring you use the correct fixings.  However, if you were to ever sell your caravan or decide to move or replace your sign, the skin will be left with permanent holes where your old sign used to be.  Here are some alternative ideas:

#1

High impact double sided foam tape saves you making holes in the outer skin of your caravan, requires no nails and is very strong. A roll is very reasonably priced, at £7.50 on Amazon.

No Nails could also work depending on the weight or your name sign. This can be bought from most DIY stores, including Homebase and B&Q.

#3

If you have a window ledge, you could buy a standing picture frame to display your name sign through your window. These can be bought reasonably cheap, like the one below at £3.48 from UK Picture Framing Supplies.

A stake that you can attach your sign to and hammer into your lawn is a unique way to display your name sign.

Decisions, decisions

#1 or #2

If you decide to go for option 1 or 2, then you may want to consider a house name sign made from a lightweight material, such as acrylic or aluminium.  These acrylic house signs are available in a wide range of shapes, sizes and colours:

Or these aluminium signs offer a more traditional look.  They are both durable and beautiful and are handmade to the highest quality. Being lighter than brass house signs, they are easy to fix on your caravan.

#3 or #4

However, if you are going to use option 3 or 4 then you can choose from a wide range of materials depending on the sturdiness of your stand or stake:

Slate:

Slate can come in a variety of styles: rustic; natural or ridged to name a few.  Slate is an ideal material as it not only looks classy but is a natural and extremely durable material that will look good for years to come.

Eco-Friendly materials:

These name signs are made from 99% recycled vitreous china and TV screens.  They are fully frost and weather proof and are available in two contemporary styles:

Natural Stone:

Wood:

If you want more of a rustic look to your name sign, then natural wood is a good option.  You can choose from Oak, Iroko wood and rustic edged wood and your sign will be handcrafted to the highest quality:
