There once was a Golden Retriever
Who told me her owner didn’t feed her
She raided the cupboard of old Mother Hubbard
And then she decided to leave her.
She met with a small Border Collie
Who wasn’t particularly jolly.
She said “come and play”, we’ll have a wonderful day
But he said “You’re off your trolley”
She moved on and she found a Bull dog,
Who turned out to be a police dog
He was so boring, fell asleep and was snoring
She ran away quietly like a good dog.
She then made a friend with a Beagle
And she was good friends with an eagle
They hitched a ride, and said goodbye
And that was the end of the Beagle
Then she met up with a Spaniel,
Who told her that his name was Daniel,
She was really quite sweet, and had tiny little feet,
No bigger than a sugar granule
