A brand new product, exclusive to the House Nameplate Company. Our brand new, aluminium, curved rectangular nameplates are a modern twist on a traditional aluminium house sign, with their distinctive shape complete with a raised border.  

They are traditionally cast, hand painted by our skilled artisan craftsman in a choice of 6 colours, and buffed and polished to give it a brilliant finish. 

Aluminium is a great material to work with, it is light making it easy to fit, durable, meaning it will last for years to come, and hard wearing making it UV and water resistant. We would not advise placing these nameplates in coastal areas as the salt in the air can cause premature tarnishing. 

Your nameplate will come complete with all the fixings you need to display it on your home. See the "How to fix to a structure" section below.

Your aluminium name plate will need cleaning periodically. To do this, use a soft, damp cloth to remove surface dirt and use a seperate, dry, soft cloth to buff the plate to a shine.

Why they take 3-4 weeks to arrive

Each aluminium name plate undergoes the same process from start to finish.

The signs are sand cast by hand which is why some graininess can be seen. A reflection of the hand crafted piece.  They are then sprayed with a powder coating, once the coating has been applied, the lettering and edging are wiped clean to reveal the original aluminium layer.  They are then baked in a kiln. Once the paint has dried, the signs are taken to be painted by our skilled craftsmen and women. Each one is painted by hand and every small detail is attended to. Each layer of paint takes around a week to dry. 

 How to fix your sign to any structure:
- Our craftsmen will drill 2 holes
- Measure and drill using a 6mm masonry drill bit to the size required and insert the rawl plugs provided.
- Using the screws provided, fix the aluminium plate securely to the wall, and fix the dome caps to the screws
